Plasma
Microworld
In the '90s, Plasma emerged in Šiauliai, Lithuania, as a pioneering electronic music duo, blending experimental electronica with techno and ambient vibes. Founded by Saidas Blistrabas, a former member of "Delčia", Plasma innovated with early computer music tech and analog synthesizers, releasing the debut album "Plug & Play" in 1996. The arrival of Darius Vaičiulis in 1997 enriched their sound, leading to "Microworld", an album that cemented their place in Lithuanian rave culture. Despite their split in 1999, with Darius joining "Happyendless" and Saidas moving to the USA as "Saidux", Plasma's influence persisted. Their 2023 reunion and the vinyl reissue of "Microworld" with remastered tracks, highlight their enduring legacy and impact on Lithuanian electronic music. Plasma not only marked the beginning of a new musical era but also left an indelible mark on the hearts of '90s ravers.
